BxAF is a web-based system from BioInfoRx. This policy covers information collected and received by BioInfoRx during any visit to its website, including but not limited to your Registration/Login information and completion of online questionnaires, studies or any forms.

By using BxAF and any of the modules, you agree to the collection and use of your personal and group information as described in this policy. If we make any significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by posting a notice of such changes on the BxAF home page.

To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, at this time BxAF is only available to users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not use the BxAF services.

Information collection and usage

• No personal or group information is sold, rent, shared or released to anyone about visitors to this site or customers of BioInfoRx unless we have previously informed you in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by you, or are required by law.
• We collect limited personal or group information to maintain your account on our secure servers. Your password will be maintained on our system in a one-way encrypted form that even we can't read. In case you forget your password, we will send you a new one at your e-mail address. You can update your account information at any time.
• To provide the basic functionalities, we store your purchase requests and your laboratory item information on our server. Such types of information will be shared with your group members, who are authorized by your group managers. If you are the group manager, please do not approve any group joining application from strangers, and make sure to remove any members who have already left your group.
• To provide advanced functionalities, non-personal/non-group information, including but not limited to public products, vendors, and suppliers, will be shared to all BxAF users. We may also perform statistical analysis of such types of information. All users, including you, will benefit from such analysis, for example, the alternative sources of a specific items and the overall user preference of sources.
• We also may collect information about the use of your account, such as how much storage you are using, how often you sign in and other information related to your registration and use of BxAF. Information displayed or clicked on in your BxAF account (including UI elements, ads, links, and other information) is also recorded. We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you, such as improving the BxAF user interface.
• When you use your BxAF account, we collect certain information (the same information that most web sites log when they are accessed). This information, contained in the "header" of your request to access the BxAF page, usually includes the browser type you used, your Internet Protocol address, and the date and time of day. In addition, we log the unique ID provided by our cookie and the URL of the last site you visited. As a basic matter, we need this information to help us provide our services to you. For example, we need to validate your identity in order to maintain the security of your documents. We also need to know what Internet Protocol addresses your query came from so we can send the appropriate pages back to you. In addition, we log this information for internal business purposes. For example, this log information helps us determine how well our services are working so we can continually improve the quality of BxAF. The log information is also important for security, audit, quality improvement, and other internal business purposes.
• Information from your activities on this web site is not released to third parties without your permission, except that data gathered from online Support Center and may be commingled and published or otherwise shared with others in aggregate reports. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information.

Transfer of information.

Personal information collected by BioInfoRx may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which BioInfoRx, Inc. or its agents maintain facilities. By using BxAF, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the event of a transfer of ownership of BioInfoRx, such as acquisition by or merger with another company. In such an event, BioInfoRx will notify you before information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

When we may disclose your personal information
